Fintran has unrivalled experience treating consignments of Australian grain and oilseeds for export. From farm gate to bulk handler to export terminal to end-user, we attend each stage of the supply chain, performing treatments on millions of tonnes of grain and oilseeds each year. We work with grain exporters, superintendents, bulk handlers, end users and government agencies to ensure that each consignment meets trade and end user requirements.

Fintran is accredited by GAFTA as an approved fumigator.

Breakbulk 
Meet stringent Australian and New Zealand import regulations. Our broad range of specialised breakbulk treatment services help your operations to run more effectively.

Fintran works with shippers and shipping lines carrying breakbulk cargo to ensure they meet Australian and New Zealand import requirements. We provide advice and biosecurity treatments for import programs, as well as for distressed and non-compliant cargos. In some unique cases, we can offer fumigation treatments on inbound cargo to meet seasonal Brown Marmorated Stink Bug (BMSB) treatment requirements. We maintain a close working relationship with the Australian Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (DAFF) and the Ministry of Primary Industries New Zealand (MPI NZ) – and we liaise with these departments on behalf of our customers in order to achieve favourable results. Fintran is approved to operate under DAFF’s Approved Arrangement Class 12.1 (Methyl Bromide Fumigation) and 12.2 (Sulfuryl Fluoride Fumigation). We have extensive experience treating many different types of breakbulk cargo including mining equipment, locomotives, cranes, steel cargo, wind turbines and yachts.

We oversee the fumigation of feedstuffs from Argentina, Brazil, the USA, Canada, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia.

Automotive and RoRo
Make your supply chain more reliable. Improve efficiency and reduce environmental impact.

Fintran works with shipping lines in the Roll-on Roll-off (RoRo) segment to ensure they meet Australian and New Zealand import requirements. We provide advice and biosecurity treatments for inbound vessels, as well as for distressed and non-compliant cargo. We regularly perform fogging and flushing treatments onboard vessels and, in some unique cases, we can offer treatments to meet seasonal Brown Marmorated Stink Bug (BMSB) requirements. We maintain a close working relationship with the Australian Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (DAFF) and the Ministry of Primary Industries New Zealand (MPI NZ) – and we liaise with these departments on behalf of our customers in order to achieve favourable results. Food production
Ensure your product meets consumer expectations and regulatory requirements for food quality.

Fintran works with millers, maltsters, nut producers, milk powder and pet food manufactures to meet their food safety and hygiene requirements. We have extensive experience using Phosphine and Sulfuryl Fluoride to control insects in production facilities, warehouses and stored products (commodity). Our company also offers controlled atmosphere treatments with Carbon Dioxide (C02) for the control of rodents.
